Senior AI Engineer

We are seeking a talented Senior AI Engineer to join our organization. This role combines applied AI/ML expertise with strong back-end engineering skills, ensuring the client's agentic systems are not only functional but scalable, secure, and production-ready.

As a key member of our engineering team, you will be at the heart of product innovation, responsible for designing, implementing, and operationalizing AI-native services that transform the utility sector.

  • You will own the full lifecycle of AI services from data ingestion and model training to real-time deployment and monitoring while continuously adapting to evolving requirements in a fast-moving, high-stakes industry.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Python and either Golang, Node.js, or Java expertise, with a strong desire to adopt Golang as the primary back-end technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architecting, fine-tuning, and deploying AI agents purpose-built for utility use cases, including predictive operations, customer engagement, and energy optimization
  • Building APIs, microservices, and orchestration frameworks that seamlessly connect AI models with enterprise systems and grid-level data flows
  • Designing and managing the complete AI pipeline ingestion, embeddings, retrieval, evaluation, and continuous deployment, ensuring reliability and scalability
  • Addressing vulnerabilities unique to AI, such as model drift, bias exploitation, adversarial robustness, and hallucination control with sensitivity to regulated environments
  • Partnering with software engineers, data specialists, and security teams to integrate AI capabilities into the broader product suite, embedding AI by design into every product release
  • Delivering breakthroughs in code and AI services on cycles measured in weeks, not quarters.
