Job Description We are seeking a Tax Specialist to support our clients with Brazilian tax structuring, compliance, and ongoing operational needs. Main Responsibilities: Tax Obligations : Advise clients on Brazilian federal, state, and municipal tax obligations related to incorporation, ongoing operations, and cross-border structures. Service Agreements : Provide guidance on tax implications of service agreements, transfer pricing, international payments, and permanent establishment concerns. Tax Compliance : Support clients with monthly and annual tax compliance, including coordination with accountants where required. Legal Opinions : Review and prepare legal opinions, memoranda, and reports related to tax matters. Tax Planning : Assist with tax planning strategies for foreign companies entering Brazil or expanding their footprint. Liaison : Liaise with government offices, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies as needed. Regional Consistency : Work closely with the broader team in Chile and Peru to ensure regional consistency for multinational clients. Client Support : Participate in client meetings, onboarding processes, and project planning to ensure smooth operations in Brazil. Cross-Functional Support : Support general corporate or commercial matters when tax expertise is required. Required Skills and Qualifications To succeed in this role, you will need: Strong knowledge of Brazilian tax laws and regulations.
