Then you might be just who we are looking for to support our Power Trading unit in Brazil.**Here’s what the job entails**You will play a crucial role in managing and optimising our power portfolio in the Brazilian market.Concretely, your areas of responsibility will include the following:- analyse market conditions, supply and demand dynamics, and regulatory changes to optimise the power trading portfolio for maximum profitability- monitor and evaluate power market developments, including price trends, policy changes, and emerging opportunities- price short- and long-term products presented by Originators and Traders- propose effective trading strategies, encompassing spot and forward trading, hedging, and derivatives trading, to achieve portfolio objectives- generate regular reports on portfolio performance and market outlook to senior management- collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including traders, analysts, and risk management, to achieve overall business objectives**Meet the team**You will join a team of highly skilled and engaged Traders, who set the bar high.
