Junior Maintenance Technician

Your responsibilities:- In this position, the Service Technician will be responsible for carrying out service and maintenance tasks on turbochargers, working both at company facilities and at customer sites. In this role you will be responsible for performing service and maintenance on Turbochargers in Brazil.- The role provides specialized technical support, executing activities in accordance with Accelleron workflows, quality standards, and safety guidelines — ensuring superior customer experience and operational excellence.- Service Delivery: Performs Service tasks like disassembly, cleaning, inspection, measurement and assembly of different types of turbochargers, in accordance with work instructions, through the identification of technical problems, carrying out remote and in-person analyses at the Workshop and or in the field in various categories of vessels (ships, platforms, etc.) and thermoelectric plants. In the field it means by performing installation and commissioning, maintenance, repairs, updates, renovations and replacements, among others, meeting customer expectations and pre-established internal procedures.- Customer Approach: Contributes to customer satisfaction by executing Service work according to customer order and expectation Creates and maintains a good relationship with customers and understands their needs Identifies new sales opportunities and communicates them internally. Execute the repair according to instructions from service coordination- Materials & Supply: Coordinates, prepares and ensures that all materials, parts and equipment are available and at the appropriate quality for Service activities.- Documents & Reports: Prepares all documents and reports to be signed by the customer representative Reports work done in a timely manner and follows up when needed. Perform maintenance inspections and reports on turbochargers. Clean up parts and take pictures and measurements as requested by maintenance tool and process- Troubleshooting: Proactively identifies potential equipment failures and requests proactive corrective actions Troubleshoots equipment failure and makes recommendations to avoid repeating the problem in the future.- Operational Excellence Proactively identifies suggestions for product and quality improvement and communicates them further in the Accelleron organization Provides recommendations to management to improve operations and customer service.- Health, Safety, Environmental, Quality and Integrity: Applies safety rules and safe practices, environmental responsibilities as well as quality process. Reports unsafe practices and incidents.Your background:Education and Experience- Technical training in Mechanics with an active CFT (Mechanical Technician Certificate);- Experience in maintenance and service of rotating machinery, engines (minimum 2 years), or preferable focus on working with turbochargers, large combustion engines, and/or mechanical technologies related to the maritime segment;- Preferable experience in mechanical assembly and disassembly, including the use of precision measuring instruments, hand tools, hydraulic and pneumatic tools, etc;- Preferably certified or experienced in lifting operations, overhead crane handling, and electric forklift, work at height, ensuring compliance with industrial safety standards;- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, Planner etc.);- Intermediate English;- Availability for national and international travel to execute services and training;- Active driver's license;- Passport.Core Competencies- Familiarity in working within regulations and rules, following management guidelines;- Service and solution-oriented mindset, with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills;- Customer and results orientation;- Responsibility, autonomy, and commitment to safety;- Effective communication and teamwork;- Proven capability to perform well under emergency work demand;- Proactivity and continuous improvement mindset.Job Conditions- Employment type: Full-time;- Location: Rio de Janeiro, Brazil;- Modality: Workshop and Field (customer site) activities.
