Job Description: Ambulatory Services Housekeeper

Location: Lehigh Valley Hospital - 2310 Highland Avenue, Bethlehem, PA 18020 (Online applications accepted only)

Schedule: Full-time and part-time; days may vary, 5:00 pm - 1:30 am. More details upon interview.

Requirements: No experience necessary. Willing to train

Pay Rate: $14.25 per hour.

Job Summary

Perform specialized cleaning duties to disinfect ambulatory healthcare facilities, including restrooms, patient areas, exam rooms, and specialty areas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Disinfect surfaces with provided chemicals.
  • Dust and polish furniture, vents, window sills, and ledges.
  • Clean reception glass and entrance windows.
  • Move chairs, waste bins, small equipment, and realign items for cleaning.
  • Clean floors, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and spot cleaning carpets and upholstery.
  • Dispose of trash and biohazardous waste, and perform routine cleaning of waste containers.
  • Replenish supplies such as soap, sanitizer, paper towels, and toilet paper.
  • Maintain equipment and tools in clean condition.
  • Operate alarm systems to arm and disarm.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
