This is a dynamic opportunity for an experienced professional with at least 1 year of Managed Care experience and Drug & Alcohol experience. Key Responsibilities:- Authorization and Data Analysis: Work closely with the clinical team to authorize and collect utilization data, assisting with discharge planning and ambulatory follow-up activities.
- Mental Health Support: Provide member assistance with mental health and substance abuse issues, participating in special quality improvement projects as assigned.
- Department hours: Work from 8:30am – 5pm.
- Licenses: LCPC, LCSW, LSW, or RN required.
- Caseload: Manage 20 calls per day.
- Managed Care Experience: At least 1 year of experience in Managed Care is highly desirable.
- Community Resource Experience: Familiarity with community resources is also a plus.
This role requires a strong ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to manage multiple priorities, and maintain accurate records.
