Clinical Coordinator RN Job Description

As a Clinical Coordinator RN, you will play a vital role in the daily operations of our clinical staff. You will assist with procedures, treatment, and support of the physician's office healthcare team.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Daily Operations Management: Oversee daily operations of the clinical staff, ensuring seamless delivery of care to patients.
  • Clinical Support Staff: Function as an integral member of the leadership team, focusing on clinical support staff development and growth.
  • Administrative Tasks: Handle general administrative tasks such as scheduling, reception, front-end revenue cycle, medical assistant duties, and other physician office tasks.
  • Clinical Resource: Serve as a clinical resource for all practice staff, accountable for clinical staff orientation, education, clinical skills competency, clinical office operations, and clinical skills remediation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Associate's Degree from an Accredited School of Nursing as an RN.
  • Experience: 3 years Recent experience in a clinical setting.
  • Soft Skills: Ability to initiate, accept, and adapt to change within a healthcare setting; ability to take initiative and function independently, as well as collaboratively.
  • Technical Skills: Excellent computer skills including electronic medical record (EMR), word processing (Microsoft Word), PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Time Management: Time management skills.
  • Emotional Intelligence: Mature emotional intelligence.
  • Project Management: Project management skills.
  • Licensure: RN - Licensed Registered Nurse_PA - State of Pennsylvania.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's Degree from an Accredited School of Nursing as an RN.
  • Certification: CACRN - Certified Ambulatory Care RN - State of Pennsylvania.

Physical Demands:

  • Physical Abilities: Lift and carry 25 lbs. frequent sitting/standing, frequent keyboard use, *patient care providers may be required to perform activities specific to their role including kneeling, bending, squatting and performing CPR.
