BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a highly analytical field
- 2+ years of finance experience or a related analytical field
- Demonstrated ability to build and manage financial models for business forecasting, variance analysis, and problem solving
- Advanced Excel user
- Excellent analytical skills, a passion for metrics and figures, and the ability to get into the details, while also seeing and understanding the big picture
- Strong skills in accessing and using analytical tools and modelling
- Strong interpersonal skills including written and oral communication skills
- Fluent in English and Portuguese

The Brazil Device Finance team is seeking a Financial Analyst to join our growing business, to support key analytical, planning and operational needs. As part of the Device Finance team, you will play a critical role in the business decision making process through driving key operating mechanisms and delivering relevant insights and analysis objectively. You will also drive continuous improvements to our processes as we scale the business.
Key job responsibilities
- Providing accurate and insightful financial reports specially on month-end closing and planning cycles
- Support senior finance members during annual and quarterly planning cycles for one or more categories/channel
- Orchestrating the whole planning process, from aligning assumptions and providing analysis to system load and data integrity checks
- Prepare monthly reports to Central team, specially about rebates and claims
- Manage with offline retail team claims and rebates control
- Identify defects and establish mechanisms to improve operational excellence as well as business performance, implementing change in conjunction with partnering teams
- Finding opportunities to improve manual or repetitive tasks
- SQL (or similar) and Cognos, highly preferred but not required (will be required to learn)
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple projects
