Do you have an analytical mindset and a passion for optimizing logistics solutions? We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Pricing Analyst to support our Reefer operations with strategic rate negotiations, data analysis, and commercial insight.

The Pricing Analyst must be analytical and commercially minded to support business growth. This role is responsible for negotiating competitive rates, analyzing market trends, and collaborating with commercial and operational teams to develop pricing strategies for temperature-controlled cargo. It involves maintaining strong relationships with carriers and partners, supporting sales efforts, and ensuring accurate, data-driven pricing decisions.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks

  • Develop a close relationship with shipping lines, co-loaders, airlines / IATA, agents and other BW offices
  • Plan, prepare and participate in strategic meetings with shipping lines, co-loaders, airlines / IATA, agents and other BW offices
  • Elaborate and present statistics and presentations to shipping lines, co-loaders, airlines / IATA, agents and other BW offices
  • Negotiate rates and special conditions (*) with shipping lines, co-loaders, airlines / IATA, agents and other BW offices
    • (*) Special conditions include: special rates, free times (detention, demurrage, storage & plugging), validity, allocation, equipment availability & payment terms
  • Negotiate tenders, BIDs and RFQs in cooperation with the sales executive
  • Analyze and define tariffs and local charges or the company in all products with the support of each Operational Team Leader
  • Send rates quoted – if possible with a sales suggestion – to the sales executive and the sales support
  • Update sales analysis files on weekly basis and present same to the Commercial Team – per sales executive and sales support
  • Assist the Commercial Department on sales development based on the sales analysis and also special rates negotiation
  • Guide the Commercial Department through rates opportunities
  • Optimize with Operations and Commercial Department best use and profit depending on shipping line and co-loader
  • Coordinate with Operations Department performance with shipping lines as this may have a direct impact (positive or negative) on rates negotiation
  • Prepare and send Newsletters regarding changes and taxes changes from the shipping lines, co-loaders, airlines / IATA, agents and other BW offices
  • Create quick solutions for client´s demands presented by the sales executive
  • Create solutions to improve the work routine
  • Research tabulate and resume daily routines and information for specific reports when requested
  • Present results verbally or in written reports when requested
