Product and Pricing Manager Latin America
Overview: The Parts Product and Pricing Manager Latin America leads the end-to-end customer experience of the parts products portfolio and pricing across all touchpoints, working with market companies and diverse areas in Latin America to develop current and new parts offers, drive profitable growth, and manage pricing strategy to increase volume, revenue, and gross profit.
The primary responsibility is to establish an end-to-end process that supports the development, commercialization, and delivery of the commercial parts offer that fulfills customer and business needs. You will lead collaboration with internal stakeholders as a key to success.
Scope and influenceThe Parts and Pricing Manager Latin America reports to the Director of Customer Experience & Services, Volvo Trucks Latin America, and is part of the regional management team. The role requires close cooperation with top management and other organizational levels across Volvo Trucks, Volvo Buses, and Volvo Group, as well as support to market companies in Latin America.
Responsibilities- Serve as an executive in Volvo Trucks Latin America, collaborating with senior leaders to enable short- and long-term parts and services growth strategies. Conduct periodic reviews with the senior executive team to evaluate intelligence and adjust service goals.
- Ensure the health and profitability of the spare parts business for the LATAM-Hub, managing three main scopes: business intelligence, parts products, and parts pricing. Responsible for strategy, portfolio, targets, financial reports, market development, technical pricing, services sales argumentation, and offers administration.
- Support markets in their parts sales processes, developing a proactive approach, challenging and inspiring them to identify new business opportunities, and ensuring wide contact with customers for full insight into their business.
- Lead project management with cross-functional teams to develop new solutions and broaden the portfolio to improve profitability.
- Apply lean principles to continuously evaluate waste and opportunities to improve productivity and bottom-line results.
- Collaborate with commercial, accounting, controlling, tax, parts logistics, and competence development areas; strengthen relationships with local and global peer functions and deepen customer understanding.
- Support market companies in process and competency development and propose future dealer service opportunities to grow parts penetration and customer experience.
- Demonstrate leadership to make things happen through people and integrated service solutions of parts and pricing to improve the customer journey with dealers, sales areas, and other functions.
- Experienced and genuine leader capable of driving the services strategy through well-developed people in a collaborative environment.
- Ability to foster cross-functional collaboration, inclusion, value creation, and innovation; self-adaptability is essential.
- Strong commercial drive with the ability to move initiatives forward and facilitate discussions in a constructive environment.
- Efficient communicator at all levels, capable of negotiating processes in a multidisciplinary scope.
- Self-energy and motivation to inspire others, with urgency in topics related to customs matters.
- People leadership with a growth and learning mindset, able to learn from setbacks and share learnings.
- Innovator who develops customer-focused initiatives and can lead change with a reasonable risk appetite.
- Passion for financials and analytics to manage the total portfolio based on facts and continuous improvement.
- Bachelor degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields; fluent in Portuguese, English, and Spanish; a lifelong learner with a cross-functional mindset.
