**Job Summary**:We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Desktop Support Technician to join our IT team on a project-based, full-time employment contract for three years. In this role, you will provide essential technical support to ensure the smooth operation of desktop systems, including troubleshooting, maintenance, and user assistance. Your expertise will play a key role in maintaining a productive work environment and delivering exceptional customer service to our users.**Key Responsibilities**:- Provide basic technical support for desktop computers, addressing hardware and software issues.- Perform routine maintenance and system updates to ensure optimal performance.- Assist users in resolving technical problems and offer guidance on utilizing software and hardware effectively.- Manage and document support tickets, including resolutions and follow-ups.- Collaborate with other IT team members to address complex technical issues.**Qualifications and Skills**:- Proficiency in desktop support, including hardware and software troubleshooting.- Knowledge of operating systems such as Windows, macOS, and Linux.- Basic understanding of networking concepts.- Strong communication and customer service skills, with a user-focused approach.- Familiarity with remote support tools and techniques.**Experience and Education**:- 612 months of experience in a desktop support or similar IT role.- Associate degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+).**Employment Terms**:- Project-based, full-time employment contract for three years.
