Provider Relations Representative (San Francisco/San Mateo)

Base pay range: $26.00/hr - $31.00/hr

Department: Market Ops - Bay Area

Location: 355 Gellert Blvd, S200, Daly City, CA 94015

Compensation: $26 - $31 / hour

About the Role

We are currently seeking a driven Provider Relations Representative who will be responsible for both field and office activities in providing supports to the IPA's provider network. This role involves collaborating with contracted providers to ensure compliance with IPA and Health Plan standards.

What You'll Do
  • Develop trusted relationships and maintain open lines of communication with providers through routine in-person visits, emails, via phone
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure provider inquiries are resolved in a timely and effective manner
  • Provide detailed reporting of provider visits, inquiries, training, and growth opportunities
  • Work cross-functionally with internal departments
  • Other duties assigned by department leaders
Qualifications
  • Associates degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience in provider network management, or a similar role within the healthcare industry
  • Understanding of Managed Care
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be able to frequently travel to designated service regions as required
  • Proficient computer skills and Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
Environmental Job Requirements and Working Conditions
  • In-person work structure; expect to work in office on a weekly basis. Office located at 355 Gellert Blvd, S200, Daly City, CA 94015.
  • Field representative position requiring travel; may be 2-3 times per week with monthly visits to provider offices
  • Occasionally required to work overtime and/or during weekends. Must maintain reliable transportation
  • The target pay range for this role is $26.00 - $31.00 per hour
