• Creating, articulating, and positioning an innovative and compelling value proposition for customer executives to understand the benefits and transformation value of migrating to AWS.
• Defining and executing technical migration and modernization strategies in collaboration with highly technical teams.
• Delivering modern architectures, including microservices and event-driven architectures, using managed services and cloud-native capabilities.
• Engaging with development, infrastructure, security, and IT operations teams at the customer to identify repeatable patterns and architectures for cloud migration.
• Identifying platform improvements and influencing future iterations of the AWS platform and the Migration Acceleration Program.

• Solid experience in design, implementation, or consulting in applications or infrastructures.
• Solid years of experience in specific technology domain areas (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
• Solid experience in a Solutions Architect, Enterprise Architect, or Lead Architect role, leading the discovery, design, and construction of full-stack custom and COTS applications.
• Experience in architecting, designing, and migrating workloads to the public cloud.
• Familiarity with a range of migration discovery, profiling, migration automation, and operations technologies and tools.
• Undergraduate degree or 7+ years of experience in software design, implementation, or consulting with distributed applications in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree.
• Willingness to travel to customer locations as needed.

• Multi-tier distributed architecture experience within IT consulting, IT operations, application development, or support, including:
• Experience in migrating, architecting, and operating on-premises or cloud-based solutions.
• Experience transforming legacy IT solutions and working knowledge of software development tools and methodologies.
• Solid years of experience across Enterprise IT in multiple areas, such as: Networking, IT Security, Data Center Operations, Serverless architecture.
• Experience designing highly available, resilient, fault-tolerant systems with load balancing and scalable architectures.
• Previous experience leading data center or cloud migration projects.
• Understanding of large IT budgets, complex vendor relationships, and the ability to work with diverse teams to justify cloud migrations.
• Depth in various migration techniques such as re-host, re-platform, re-architect, re-host, etc.
