About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Developer to join our team. This role is ideal for an individual who excels in writing maintainable, scalable, and secure code using C#/.NET. This is a 100% remote, full-time opportunity with a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $84,000 USD. The responsibilities include developing and maintaining applications, shaping system architecture, writing quality code, supporting production systems, collaborating across teams, and focusing on security and compliance. Key Responsibilities: Application Development: Build, enhance, and maintain secure, scalable backend services using C#/.NET and integrate with APIs like Plaid, Dwolla, and Treasury Prime. System Architecture: Contribute to system design, ensuring performance, scalability, and security across FinTech applications. Quality Code: Implement and test maintainable, well-documented code, with a focus on automation and software best practices. Production Support: Monitor and troubleshoot production applications to ensure high availability and quick issue resolution. Team Collaboration: Work closely with front-end, QA, product, and IT teams, while mentoring junior engineers. Security and Compliance: Embed security best practices and maintain compliance with FinTech regulations. Required Skills and Qualifications: The required skills include strong technical expertise, proficiency in C#/.NET, ASP.NET MVC/WebAPI, Object-Relational Mappers (ORMs), solid foundation in design patterns and software development best practices, experience with modern front-end and server-side technologies such as Node.js and React, commitment to software quality, and collaboration and communication skills.
