We are always moving forward - always pushing ourselves to go further in our efforts to build a more equitable, inclusive world for our employees, our customers and our communities.**The Role**We're looking for an Infrastructure Specialist professional to join our Network Services Deploy team and work with architects, operation teams, engineers, and vendors to plan and execute installations, reductions, and closures.In this role, you’ll collaborate with CISO teams and business units to agree on firewall requirements and implementation; Manage the disposal of EOL/decommissioned network devices through the eWaste process; Perform preventative power maintenance activities and remote installation coordination with H&E vendors.You'll be responsible for working with RDC (cabling routes and types), LAN Room setup, power & cooling requirements; Collaborating with circuit providers for cabling routes, MUX deployment, and redundant paths via PoPs. Network design, IP Address and Subnet requirements and requests, space planning, cabling, switches/routers, redundant paths, high availability, and firewall requirements.W ith mastery, you'll engage with GSNI teams for cabling, switches, circuits, and site transitions. Integration with Print, AV, and other teams for cabling routes, switch ports, and static IP assignment and collaborate for utilization of appropriate tools for technical planning of WiFi device placements.At Kyndryl, your contributions matter.
