**Job Title**:Application Engineer Analyst **Department**:ITD - Power Control Business
**Summary**
Application Engineer Analyst will perform a variety of assignments including being the technical responsible for Motor Control Center and Medium Voltage Drives projects. Working with a diverse team of Supply Chain, Project Managers and Production, the Analyst will execute “Engineering To Order” customer projects, ensuring that the proposed solution meets customer’s requirements, Rockwell Automation product specifications and global standards.
**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Leading the technical execution of Motor Control Center and Medium Voltage Drives projects with low and medium complex levels.
- Review all technical specifications and project documentation ensuring that the proposed solution meets the customer's specification.
- Review proposed solution according to Rockwell Automation product specification and global standards (IEC, ANSI, UL).
- Participate in internal and external meetings with stakeholders and customers to aligned project expectations.
- Elaborate electrical schematic drawings, mechanical models and bill of materials. To specify and define components to meet customer requirements when necessary.
- Interface with vendor on the definition and set up of new components.
- Load project Bill of Materials in ERP system (SAP).
- Provides direct support to Quality, Supply Chain, Project Managers and Production teams by providing technical guidance and engineering judgment to complete projects and address all issues arising needing resolution (i.e. customer complaints, unusual requests, technical advice). Ensures quality and adherence to policies and standards requirements.
- Familiarity with Circuit Breakers, Protective Relay Systems, AC Motors, Variable Frequency Drives, Smart Motor Control, Direct and Reverse Starters, Programmable Logic Controllers.
- Knowledge of basic electrical circuits and electrical systems.
- Knowledge of schematic drawings, and global standards (IEC) applicable to Motor Control Center and Medium Voltage Drives.
- Be responsible for all technical solutions of assigned customer’s orders.
- Managing the results of your own projects: delivering on cost, on time, and resulting in client satisfaction.
- Monitoring project and department KPIs, ensuring projects meet quality, commitment, and performance metrics.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills with excellent communication of problems and solutions.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Support the Commercial team on key opportunities providing technical guidance.
- Looking for innovation by creation of tools/process that support project execution with quality and agility.
- Make technical presentations related process, solutions and products
- May perform other duties as required.
**Qualifications/Requirements**
- A Bachelor’s degree in Electric/Electronic Engineering or similar field
- Experience (2+ years) in panel design
- Displays excellent communication, teamwork, innovation and analytical skills
- English Advanced
- Spanish Basic/Intermediate (Desired)
- AutoCAD Electrical knowledges
- PTC CREO or other 3d design software (Desired)
- Eligible to hybrid work
