Role

The Relationship Manager will manage our top-tier merchants in LatAm with the objective of building and maintaining strong win-win relationships. The role acts as a single point of contact for the customer, liaising collaboratively across internal teams. Primary objectives are to build relationships, maintain client satisfaction, add value for our clients, expand Nuvei's footprint in the region, and increase revenue through supporting our partners with our product suite. The role combines home/office-based work with face-to-face merchant meetings at their HQ.

Responsibilities
  • Leverage business acumen and analytical abilities to strategically assess and help achieve merchant goals
  • Synthesize complex data sets and use data to tell a compelling story
  • Prioritize and manage multiple projects across departments, while motivating and collaborating to achieve results
  • Understand and anticipate clients' current and future needs to develop compelling solutions
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships through client visits and quarterly business reviews
  • Oversee the integration of clients to the Nuvei platform and work with the technical team on new feature development for merchants
  • Achieve targets and continually review individual client account management plans
  • Forecast and track client account metrics
  • Position yourself as an expert payments advisor, staying current on regulations and competitive landscape
  • Engage others and develop productive working relationships at all levels within client organizations
  • Understand and drive enterprise merchant growth, present business reviews, launch projects, and identify ways to support growth and solve pain points
  • Analyze transactional data to improve customer performance across business areas
  • Identify opportunities to grow business with existing clients
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure consistent service
  • Collaborate with the sales team to reach prospective clients when appropriate
Requirements
  • 5+ years of relationship management experience with client-focused solutions
  • Strong payments industry experience
  • C-suite communication and management skills
  • Knowledge and experience in the travel industry
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
  • Experience in data analytics
  • Proven project management skills
  • Full professional proficiency in English and Spanish (Portuguese desired)
  • Availability to travel
  • Based in Brazil
