A Senior SAP Developer is required to conduct a comprehensive technical assessment of an existing SAP Ariba implementation, with a focus on identifying non-compliant configurations, technical debt, and deviations from SAP best practices. The role is critical in evaluating the current build and providing a detailed analysis of areas requiring remediation or potential rebuild.Participation in remediation or rebuild planning and execution.Responsibilities:
ReviewAnalyze the current SAP Ariba configuration and custom developmentsIdentify hard-coded logic, non-standard extensions, and unsupported customizationsEvaluate the use of SAP APIs, integration methods, and extensibility frameworksBest Practices and Gap analysis, Clean Core Compliance and Impact evaluationAssess alignment with SAP clean core principles and extensibility guidelinesIdentify functional and technical gaps impacting business operationsEvaluate the scalability, upgradeability, and performance of the current solutionDocument deviations from SAP-recommended architecture and design patternsHighlight risks associated with technical debt and long-term maintainabilityProvide recommendations and High level estimation on effort required for remediation, refactoring, or potential rebuild.Stakeholder CollaborationWork closely with architects and process owners to understand pain pointsTranslate technical findings into business-relevant impacts and prioritiesDocumentation & ReportingDeliver a comprehensive assessment report detailing findings, risks, and recommendations.Skills:
Advanced or fluent EnglishExperience in SAP development and SAP Ariba (Buying, Sourcing, SLP and Business Network)Deep understanding of SAP Ariba architecture, integration (CIG, APIs), and extensibilityExperience in code review, technical audits, and clean core assessmentsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detailFamiliarity with SAP BTP and SAP S/4HANAExperience with common / known integration issues within Ariba, SAP and Fieldglass and its recommended solutionFamiliarity with punch out catalog and its implementation for BrazilFamiliarity with MDGExperience with SAP Fieldglass and S/4HANA procurement modulesExperience in Agile methodology usage would be differentialSAP certifications would be considered differentialAdditional information:
