About the Role We are looking for a data‑driven Email Marketing Manager to lead email, SMS, and retention campaigns for fast‑growing e‑commerce and digital brands. This is a fully remote role supporting a team in the EST time zone and is open to candidates based in Spain, Mexico, Portugal, and Brazil. Responsibilities Lead the design and execution of email, SMS, and loyalty programs for select clients, building deep customer relationships and driving retention. Partner with cross‑functional teams to strategize and develop strategies that deepen retention and build loyalty. Project‑manage and delegate campaign briefs to cross‑functional teams, ensuring design quality, segmentation, QA, and flawless delivery. Serve as the primary retention lead, leading bi‑weekly meetings with clients to discuss current and future initiatives. Report on strategic KPIs, create insights and actionable recommendations to grow client retention engagement and revenue. Develop strategic campaign calendars and prioritize projects to scale email, SMS, loyalty, and subscription programs. Execute on automation / flow logic set‑up, pop‑up builds, and app integrations across Klaviyo, Shopify, Attentive, PostScript, SMSBump, and other platforms. Coordinate cross‑departmentally with Growth, Digital, and Marketplaces teams to develop cohesive growth‑driven campaigns. Qualifications 5+ years of experience in digital marketing with hands‑on retention experience. Immersed in scaling personalized D2C/e‑commerce email and SMS programs that build deep customer relationships. Creative messaging of value propositions for brand product catalogs, delivering engaging, informative, and persuasive campaigns. Experience developing creative customer journeys and loyalty programs that drive lifetime value. Proficient in Klaviyo (or similar ESP) with list segmentation, lifecycle drip automations, and triggered events; knowledge of Shopify and related tech stacks such as Privy, JustUno, Yotpo, Octane AI. Experience in SMS platforms such as Attentive, PostScript, SMSBump, or Klaviyo. Speed‑to‑market and multitask management skills in a fast‑paced environment, handling multiple tasks for self, team, and clients. Data‑driven decision maker who turns analytics into actionable strategies that drive client revenue. Continuous learning mindset, staying on the cutting edge of DTC marketing trends and best practices. Experience designing and executing customer loyalty programs that enhance LTV. At least one direct report with strong leadership skills and cross‑functional collaboration. Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas to varied audiences.
