Achieve extraordinary things when you join our team, and make a difference in your professional development, the community, and around the globe****Primary Purpose of this Position**:Lead strategic planning, implementation, and management of tech initiatives, driving digital transformation and operational excellence for organizational success and competitive edge.**What will you be responsible for?**- Develop and execute a comprehensive technology strategy aligned with the overall business objectives and supply chain goals. This strategy should focus on leveraging technology to drive innovation, efficiency, and competitive advantage.- Oversee the evaluation, selection, and implementation of supply chain technology solutions, such as Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Transportation Management Systems (TMS), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, and emerging technologies like blockchain, Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI).- Ensure seamless integration and interoperability of supply chain technology systems with other business systems, external partners, suppliers, and customers. This includes establishing data standards, APIs, and middleware solutions for efficient data exchange.- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to supply chain management, such as artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), robotic process automation (RPA), and predictive analytics. Identify opportunities to pilot and implement innovative solutions that drive operational excellence.- Lead digital transformation initiatives within the supply chain function, driving the adoption of digital technologies, automation, and digitization of processes to enhance agility, visibility, and responsiveness across the supply chain network.- Lead change management efforts to facilitate the adoption of new technology solutions and processes within the organization. Provide training, communication, and support to ensure smooth transitions and maximize user adoption and satisfaction.- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the performance of supply chain technology systems. Monitor performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement optimization initiatives to enhance efficiency, reliability, and scalability.- Foster strategic partnerships and collaboration with internal stakeholders, business units, and external partners to drive alignment, innovation, and value creation through technology-enabled initiatives.**What are we looking for?**- Completed bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science or related Software Engineering/Technology degree- Advanced/Fluent English- Experience innovating and digital transformation within the supply chain function- Experience mitigate risks associated with supply chain technology systems- Experience collaborating global teamsTechnology:- Project management is crucial for overseeing the implementation of technology initiatives.- Technology implementation is vital for successfully integrating new systems, software, and tools into the supply chain infrastructure.- Driving digital transformation within the supply chain.Analytics:- Analyzing complex issues, identifying root causes, and devising effective solutions to mitigate risks and ensure smooth functioning of the supply chain.- Articulating complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner, fostering alignment and buy-in from key stakeholders.Knowledge of:- Supply chain dynamics is fundamental for integrating technology.- Logistics, inventory management, procurement, distribution, and other key aspects of the supply chain ecosystem.- Strategic planning, project management, technology implementation, innovation, problem-solving, team management, communication, and supply chain expertise.When you join Ball you belong to a team of over 21,000 members worldwide.
