Product Validation Engineer I: Quality Assurance

Overview Cadence Design Systems Inc. is looking for a motivated Product Validation Engineer I: Quality Assurance to be part of the team in Belo Horizonte. Responsibilities Improve processes and test methodologies. Define test strategies and test plans. Create new test cases (manual and automated) to verify/validate new features and fixes. Analyze functional and non-functional requirements. Perform regression tests and analyze their results. Identify, document, and report defects. Qualifications Complete Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronic/Electrical Engineering, etc. Experience with software testing including automation testing. Knowledge of programming language/scripts. Experience with agile methodologies. Passionate about software quality. Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills. The candidate must be a team player and have a continuous improvement mindset. Good verbal and written English and Portuguese communication skills. Nice To Have Knowledge or experience in Python. Knowledge of performance and API tests. Knowledge of Unix/Linux environment. Experience in EDA industry/tools. Additional Job Details Employment category: CLT. Employment term: 40 hours/week.
