We are proud to be an equal opportunity employer.This role is part of the A2R Americas Finance team responsible for IFRS Accounting for Brazil.**Key Responsibilities****Core responsibilities include**:- Responsible for executing accounting and daily operations for Legal Entity Accounting, specifically for the completeness and accuracy of IFRS Accounting, working closely with the Country Tax Centers (CTC). This includes but is not limited to recording the statutory ledgers and maintaining accuracy of parallel ledgers (if applicable), focusing on ensuring the correct tax accounting and liaison / coordination with internal and external audit teams- Timely closing & execution of financial periods as per closing calendar and in accordance with SLA commitments, fully observing Compliance, Internal Audit & SOX requirements- Accountable for completeness, accuracy and validity of the actuals reported within process/entity scope- Deep expertise, fully knowledgeable of the Worldwide Procedures and compliance requirements for respective areas- Generate ideas, foster, and implement continuous improvement mindset, identifying and pursuing process efficiency opportunities- Execute global Strategy & Solutions in line with taxonomy- Support Process Subject Matter Experts (SME's) and Operational Key Contacts (OKC's) to ensure cross sector, cross region, and cross process alignment, ensuring good documentation is maintained and consistency of a global approach- Regular focus on Balance Sheet reconciliations to minimize open items- Execute process improvements, generating ideas and implementing them in line with global standards**Compliance**- Support auditors and legal authorities with the execution of required activities- Understand, adhere to, and execute worldwide policies and procedures. Identify compliance risks and recommend solutions- Ensure strong internal controls are in place, to achieve “adequate” internal and external audit ratings**Leadership and People Management**- Recruit, Onboard and Training of new joiners- On the job training for new team members / BPO partners**Travel**- Up to 5% international travel**Qualifications** Qualifications**:- A minimum of a bachelor’s level degree or equivalent is required, preferably in accounting or finance- CPA, CMA, MBA and/or other financial certifications are preferred**Languages**:- Fluent English, other language skills desirable Fluent English**Experience and Skills Required**:- 4 years of professional experience is desirable- At least 1 year of Management / Supervisory experience is required- Experience in a Shared Service Centre of a multinational corporation or BPO- Experience in a Global Account to Report function of a large multi-state company- US GAAP accounting knowledge- Proficient in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and MS Office in particular Excel is preferred**Other**:- Lead/Participate in other Regional/Global/Cross functional duties as assignedJohnson & Johnson is an Affirmative Action and Equal Opportunity Employer.
