What We Are Looking For

We need a Local SEO Growth Lead who can take charge and drive results in local SEO.

We need someone who’s deeply curious, a natural problem solver, and technically savvy. A love for delving into the weeds and problem solving until you hit success is a prerequisite for this role. You’ll also need to be self-reliant, have a natural intuition, and be able to map out strategies and processes.

Responsibilities

  1. Manage and grow hundreds of Google Business Profiles.
  2. Utilize various tactics in the realm of grey hat SEO to achieve success.
  3. Build out processes, strategies, and automations for scaling local SEO aggressively.
  4. Dive deep into data from Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and Ahrefs to reverse engineer competitor success and identify untapped opportunities.
  5. Uncover high-value keywords and map out content strategies aligned with aggressive growth targets.
  6. Report directly to our Head of SEO and participate in daily strategy calls.
  7. Measure success by improving local rankings, managing successful SEO campaigns, and delivering leads through smart strategies.

Growth Opportunities

  • You’ll work under our Head of SEO operations and Director.
  • You’ll have daily calls with the SEO team, developers, designers, and more to coordinate and collaborate to achieve your goals.
  • You’ll be graded on your ability to rank, scale, and report on all Google Business Profiles.
  • We align bonuses alongside your SEO results.
  • Strong opportunity for growth into a more senior SEO position, handling and running a team of local SEOs.
  • You’ll constantly have opportunities to develop relevant skills, try tactics and strategies you devise, and take courses you feel will help drive your success in the role.

The Ideal Candidate

  1. Digital Prodigy: You need to show a savvy prowess for digital tasks, including working out automations, setting up tracking, occasionally editing websites, and collaborating with developers.
  2. Deeply Curious: You need to be able to question and test the modus operandi. SEO is an evolving beast, with constant twists and turns. Those that excel are the SEOs that test, try new approaches, and trust their instincts.
  3. Data & Keyword Research Mastermind: You live and breathe data-driven decisions. You get excited about diving into analytics, extracting insights, and uncovering golden keyword opportunities.
  4. Strategy Game Fanatic: You enjoy engaging in complex, strategy-focused games where success depends on a deep understanding of systems, resource allocation, and long-term planning.
