Editorial Leadership Role

We are seeking a seasoned editor to spearhead the development of our regional brand in Brazil, shaping the narrative and driving industry coverage.

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented journalist with B2B experience who is eager to grow in the dynamic sports betting and gaming media space.

The ideal candidate will possess strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with proficiency in content management systems and familiarity with SEO and social media best practices.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a strategic content plan that aligns with business objectives.
  • Oversee content creation, ensuring high-quality output and consistency with house style.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive audience engagement and growth.
  • Monitor analytics and dashboards to inform content optimization and improve KPIs.
  • Contribute to multimedia projects, including podcasts, video content, and other formats.
  • Support initiatives to expand and engage the target audience.
  • Manage and maintain content management systems, ensuring accuracy, SEO optimization, and timely publication.
  • Keep media contacts updated and organized in HubSpot.
  • Fact-check thoroughly, verify sources, and minimize legal or reputational risks.
  • Ensure B2B sites are accurate, updated, and free from errors or dead links.
  • Attend press launches, conferences, and exhibitions, with opportunities for international travel.
  • Build relationships with stakeholders and represent the company positively at industry events.
  • Work with the events team to shape conference agendas and identify high-value speakers.
  • Seek opportunities to drive revenue, improve efficiency, and enhance client service.
  • Identify stories through press releases, contacts, and proactive research.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues across regions and functions.
Requirements
  • Must be based in Brazil.
  • Bachelor's degree in Journalism.
  • Proven experience as an Editor in a B2B environment.
  • Fluency in Portuguese and English (written and spoken).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to provide constructive feedback and manage editorial standards.
  • Creative and analytical mindset with a strong sense of story angles.
