Cloud Data Engineer OpportunityWe are seeking a skilled Cloud Data Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of our cloud-based data platform.The ideal candidate will have experience in designing, building, and maintaining robust and scalable data pipelines for batch and real-time processing. They will also be responsible for constructing and managing the data lake infrastructure across multiple cloud environments, ensuring governance, security, and scalability.Key Responsibilities:- Design and implement relational & non-relational databases- Maintain robust and scalable data pipelines for batch and real-time processing- Construct and manage the data lake infrastructure multi-cloud- Administer and optimize various database management systems including relational and NoSQL databases- Implement real-time data stream processing solutions using technologies like Apache Kafka or similar- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements- Ensure data quality observability and reliability through testing monitoring and pipeline versioning- Implement and enforce data security and privacy policies- Automate repetitive data engineering and management tasks applying DevOps and CI/CD principlesRequirements:- Hands-on experience with modern data platforms and orchestration tools e.G. Apache Spark Airflow Databricks- Deep knowledge of GCP cloud environments and data-related services- Proficiency in SQL and experience with both relational and non-relational databases- Experience with data streaming technologies such as Apache Kafka or managed cloud services- Strong programming skills in Python Scala or Java- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools e.G.
