Cloud Data Engineer Opportunity We are seeking a skilled Cloud Data Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of our cloud-based data platform. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing, building, and maintaining robust and scalable data pipelines for batch and real-time processing. They will also be responsible for constructing and managing the data lake infrastructure across multiple cloud environments, ensuring governance, security, and scalability. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement relational & non-relational databases Maintain robust and scalable data pipelines for batch and real-time processing Construct and manage the data lake infrastructure multi-cloud Administer and optimize various database management systems including relational and NoSQL databases Implement real-time data stream processing solutions using technologies like Apache Kafka or similar Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements Ensure data quality observability and reliability through testing monitoring and pipeline versioning Implement and enforce data security and privacy policies Automate repetitive data engineering and management tasks applying DevOps and CI/CD principles Requirements: Hands-on experience with modern data platforms and orchestration tools e.g. Apache Spark Airflow Databricks Deep knowledge of GCP cloud environments and data-related services Proficiency in SQL and experience with both relational and non-relational databases Experience with data streaming technologies such as Apache Kafka or managed cloud services Strong programming skills in Python Scala or Java Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools e.g. Terraform Ansible is a plus Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams What We Offer: A dynamic work environment that encourages collaboration and innovation Opportunities for professional growth and development A competitive salary and benefits package
