COMPANY: Reputable & Well Established Company

Our client has various projects starting now involving construction and renovation of public sector buildings for different ministries, some in Luanda and some in the different provinces.

Our client is an IT company and has no experience in construction and civil engineering, so they need a PM that will manage all aspects of construction:

  1. Analyzing customer needs
  2. Survey of the sites
  3. Defining SOW and BOM
  4. Engaging local/international contractors to carry out the work
  5. Managing subcontractors and supervising the work
  6. Managing budget and schedule
  7. Handing over the sites to customers

Job Requirements (mandatory):

  1. Languages: Portuguese & English mandatory
  2. Manage and lead Projects of Housing, Public Buildings, and Infrastructures construction

Skills Requirements:

  1. Very knowledgeable and experienced in his area
  2. Working independently but reporting to managers
  3. Attention to detail while seeing the broad picture
  4. Good interpersonal skills - will have many interfaces with suppliers, customers, and peers
  5. Experience in managing and working within budget and tight schedules
  6. Flexible and a problem solver
  7. Good experience with office tools (Word, Excel, PPT)
  8. Experienced in working in Angola/Africa
