Are you a commercial at heart with an insatiable drive to close deals?We're hiring an Account Executive to manage commercial efforts and acquire B2B customers (e.g. coops, tradings, retailers) for Market+, Indigo’s digital solution for grain merchandising.**The Company**Indigo Ag is a high-growth international agtech startup with the mission of harnessing nature to help farmers and agribusinesses sustainably feed the planet.We connect sustainability and profitability by combining data-driven insights, natural microbiology, and innovative digital technologies.This intersection of agriculture and technology comes through our three synergistic product lines:Biotrinsic: a collection of biological products derived from plants, for plants** (focus of this role)**Carbon: a program to help farmers generate income from carbon farming**The Role**Develop and manage enterprise sales pipeline - discovery, qualifying, presentations, demos, proposals, negotiation, and closingDesign the strategy for each accountEngage with stakeholders across organizations, from originators to senior-level executivesManage and track customer interactions, generating appropriate reportsEnsure product delivery and be the main point of contact for clients' key stakeholdersCollaborate with customer success, engineering, and product teams, providing visibility on customers' levels of engagement, needs, and behaviorsTravel to customer locations in support of sales efforts.**Skills and Basic Qualifications**:- Must have: 5+ years of experience in grain origination - as an originator, key account manager, and/or merchant/origination trader- Dealmaker at heart, with an insatiable drive to close deals- Consultative sales skillset with an ability to construct and articulate a tailored business case- Excellent verbal and written communication, both in English and Portuguese- Excellent presentation skills and executive presence- Embodies a “roll up the sleeves and get it done” start-up mentality, with high sense of accountability- Comfortable working with little direction but knowing when to ask for help- Availability to travel**Preferred Qualifications**:- Experience in B2B sales for Agribusiness- Experience with SaaS for Agribusines
