**Sr. Account Executive** who will focus on selling IDC’s research products to prospects and existing accounts. This position is based in our office in Sao Paulo, Brazil only.

**Responsibilities**:
- The **Sr. Account Executive** will be responsible for generating revenue in both renewal and new sales, and consulting opportunities to prospects and existing accounts.
- As a member of a collaborative team, the Sr. Account Executive will be responsible for developing an in-depth knowledge of IDC products and services, as well as building strong relationships with individuals across IDC.
- The individual will prospect for incremental opportunities, follow up on proposal generation, respond to client requests for information and/or problems, and continue to enhance the client value proposition.
- The main tactical activities for this professional are:
- Identification of new customers and definition of the strategy to be executed (sometimes together with the Analysts and Business Development team).
- Customer management, focusing on expanding the services provided by IDC (up and cross sell).
- Management of conflicts and problems with clients, acting as an interface between clients and analysts.
- Management of the pipeline funnel within your territory with the objective of reaching your targets of 30, 60 and 90 days.
- Negotiation of contractual terms and conditions between IDC and Client.
- Follow-up on leads generated by IDC marketing campaigns.
- Deep understanding of the IDC portfolio, which is constantly changing.
- Development and preparation of quarterly plans for the sales territory;
- Work in collaboration with other sales executives from across Latin America to manage multinational or multi-Latin accounts;
- Establishment of strong and positive relationships with the IDC team of Analysts and Consultants as strategic partners during the Business Development process.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years of sales experience, along with strong written, analytical, and verbal communication skills
- Portuguese and English fluency are a must. Spanish language is desireble.
- Strong telephone cold calling experience preferred. Prior experience selling an intangible product or service is a plus.
- Additionally, this person will be entrepreneurial, motivated, assertive, and collaborative, as well as be a self-starter and a quick-thinker.
- This position requires strong time management and organization skills.
- Prior market research industry sales experience is helpful, but not required.
