Our client is looking for a Purchasing Manager with expertise in the electrical contracting or electrical supply fields.
As the Electrical Purchasing Manager , you will be responsible for managing the purchase of all electrical materials and products daily. You will also maintain coordination between the office and the field. Success in this role requires a strong ability to work as part of a team, think creatively and critically, and embody our Core Values of a hard work ethic, strong values, vision, teamwork, communication, positivity, and logical thinking.
Responsibilities:
- Purchasing:
- Obtain pricing for all materials
- Purchase and track all electrical materials and products daily
- Create Purchase Orders
- Purchase and manage all lighting and power for large projects
- Handle all correspondence between offices and the shop
- Coordinate with Field Foremen
- Communicate with suppliers
- Maintain shipping schedules for Managers
- Monitor and control shop inventory
