Lead Tax Strategist

Our Tax team drives compliance and optimizes our tax position by handling tax planning, reporting, and risk management. We collaborate closely with other departments to deliver efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage direct and indirect taxes, ensuring adherence to current legislation while minimizing the tax burden
  2. Prepare and submit timely tax returns for both direct and indirect taxes
  3. Monitor tax compliance processes and work with internal accounting teams to meet tax obligations
  4. Manage federal, state, and municipal tax audits, coordinating documentation and communicating with auditors and tax authorities
  5. Analyze changes in tax legislation and assess potential business impacts, providing recommendations for compliance
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Law; Advanced degree or CPA certification preferred
  2. Significant experience in direct and indirect taxes, tax compliance, and tax planning
  3. Knowledge of Transfer Pricing and participation in external audits
  4. Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills with various stakeholders
