About the Role As Head of the Data & Conciliations Team, you’ll lead, grow and work hands‑on with a multidisciplinary group focused on building and scaling Yuno’s reconciliation systems — the backbone ensuring accuracy, transparency, and reliability across our payment ecosystem. Your team’s mission is to design, maintain, and evolve the systems that reconcile millions of transactions daily across multiple payment processors, currencies, and partners. Your challenge at Yuno Lead and mentor cross‑functional teams including engineers, scientists, analysts, and BI professionals. Design and oversee the architecture of Yuno’s data infrastructure, ensuring scalability, reliability, and high performance across all data pipelines. Monitor data health metrics and lead remediation of critical data issues. Architect scalable infrastructure including data lakes, warehouses, and pipelines. Ensure high availability, security, and performance of platforms (e.g. Snowflake, AWS). Drive automation and observability to reduce downtime and improve operational efficiency. Define and execute the enterprise data integration strategy and roadmap. Lead adoption of cloud‑native and hybrid integration tools. Champion modern integration patterns including data mesh, API‑led connectivity, and event‑driven architectures. Minimum Qualifications Fluent in Spanish and English. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or related field, OR equivalent real‑world experience in data roles. 8+ years of engineering leadership with 3+ years managing managers across data‑heavy backend teams (or an equivalent track record of shipping production data systems at internet scale). Track record of shipping production data systems at massive scale. Experience with modern data stack (SQL, Python, dbt, BigQuery, Looker, etc.). Experience with APIs, integrations with third‑party systems, and batch/streaming data processing.
