What your day-to-day will look like: Responsible for uploading Tax documents into the company’s ERP system and ensuring their correct tax classification; Developing and monitoring tax analyses in collaboration with the Accounting team; Supporting the calculation of EBANX taxes, including withheld taxes, as well as the submission of related statutory filings; Assisting in tax credit refund processes; Responsible for testing the automation of tax calculations and the submission of statutory tax filings for the entities. What you need to shine in this role: Intermediate or advanced proficiency in Spanish or English; Basic to intermediate knowledge of direct and indirect taxes, withholding taxes, and tax concepts; Strong communication skills to interact with and support internal teams and BPO partners; Proactive profile with an interest in learning about tax obligations across different Latin American (LATAM) countries; Analytical mindset, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail; High sense of ownership and accountability. Bonus points if you have: General familiarity with tax compliance and statutory filings; Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace; Previous experience in a Tax or Accounting department.
