Position Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Intern to join our global finance team. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience across key financial areas such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Tax, and Accounting. The role provides full immersion in day-to-day financial operations and exposure to international business processes. **Fluency in English is mandatory**, as the intern will engage with global teams and support international financial workflows. **This is a hybrid role (3 days in the office, 2 days at home) with 6 hours of work per day.**
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Assist in developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in both English and Portuguese, and collaborate with international teams to align financial processes.
- Track the procurement process for domestic and international suppliers, including purchase orders, invoice posting (MIGO/MIRO), and payment preparation.
- Help prepare international remittances and support foreign exchange contract processing.
- Contribute to cash flow forecasting and assist with financial analysis for reporting to headquarters.
- Support receivables management, including invoice generation and payment reconciliation for both local and global clients.
- Learn about the issuance of tax documents, including those related to import/export, and follow up on tax declarations and compliance in an international context.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly closing reports and participate in automation initiatives alongside IT, including meetings held in English.
Position Requirements
- Fluent English languages skill, both written and spoken (mandatory). Proficiency will be tested.
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Economics. **(preferably somebody studying the second-to-last year of degree, as the internship lasts up to 2 years).**:
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (such as SAP) is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, dynamic, proactive, well-organized, and highly interested in working in a multicultural environment.
