**Description**:
As a Corporate Finance Associate at Caterpillar, you will support a variety of investment analyses for sourcing studies, New Product Introductions (NPI) and strategic growth. You will also provide investment governance during the project / transaction cycle and support Project Implementation Assessments and methodology updates and reviews. You will work with a variety of Business Units.
**Job duties include but are not limited to the following**:
Partner with business units to provide insights and analysis in the preparation of strategic investment decisions including but not limited to:
- Suppor t i n t h e prepara t io n o f Majo r Progra m Busines s Proposals
- Defin ing growt h plan s an d s t ra t egie s fo r regiona l expansio n in to additiona l produc t lines, segmen ts o r par ts o f t h e valu e chain

- Wor k wi th busines s uni t financia l t eam s to ensur e C aterpilla r Financia l Analysi s Me t hodolog y i s bein g followed
- Ensur e tha t Enterpris e Procedur e 5:0 4 i s bein g follo w e d a s i t rela t e s t o C aterpilla r en t erin g agreemen ts fo r acquisitions of capital assets, lease s, an d M& A ac t ivity
- Provid e t echnica l exper t is e an d suppor t th e busines s processe s u t ilizin g busines s analysi s t echniques
- Wor k wi th Busines s U ni ts to independentl y resolv e problem s an d ac t a s a captai n i n busines s proposa l developmen t fo r al l assigne d programs
- Understand, follow, and provide process improvements to the Enterprise Cost & Business Analysis Manual
- Supporting project work requires the ability for pockets of travel
**Basic Requirements**:
- Require s a bachelor' s degree i n finance / corporat e financin g o r accounting, economics, o r ma t hema t ics ; MBA, CPA, CF A, CM A i s preferred.
- 6-8 year s o f accoun t ing, managemen t consul t in g o r finance-rela t e d experienc e i s preferred
- Th e incumben t mus t demons t ra te leadership, s t ra t egi c t hinking, ini t ia t ive, interpersona l skill s, an d t h e abilit y to communica te effec t ively.
