Role Overview The Core/AI team is responsible for maintaining shared tooling, advancing AI capabilities, and ensuring robust systems and security across all of Luzia’s operations. This role is pivotal in defining and implementing the team’s strategy while driving collaboration with engineering, design, and other cross-functional stakeholders. Your work will impact millions of users globally and set the standards for how Luzia evolves. Key Responsibilities Work with the head of engineering to design and execute a vision for Luzia’s foundational systems and AI capabilities. Align the core team efforts with business goals, ensuring a robust and scalable architecture. Collaborate with engineering and other product teams to develop features around memory, inference optimization, advanced system prompts, customization and AI-enhanced workflows. Lead the prioritization and execution of tasks based on the Core/AI team’s operating model. Continuously seek ways to optimize our core systems based on key metrics. Develop and maintain robust product documentation and requirements that improve internal processes and help to provide scope for engineering development. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience). 5+ years in a technical product management role, preferably with experience in AI or core infrastructure teams. Strong understanding of software development, AI technologies, and system architecture. Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up sleeves to get the job done. Skilled at working effectively with cross-functional teams and ability to influence. Experience gathering business requirements, defining product requirements and using business intelligence tools (SQL, Amplitude, Looker, Braze) to extract data, formulate metrics, and build reports. Experience leading multiple projects with multiple stakeholders within tight timelines. Extreme attention to detail, design and UX. Genuine user-centric and data-driven mindsets. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Full professional proficiency in English. Spanish and/or Portuguese is a plus.
