Overview

Python Full-Stack Developer - Custom Business Reporting - LATAM role at ZIVA. We’re looking for a highly skilled Python Developer with full-stack experience based in LATAM to work side-by-side with the founder in creating custom business reporting suites for distributors and wholesalers in the non-food distribution space .

You’ll be building lightweight, budget-friendly solutions that integrate with real-world ERP systems — and you’ll be my shadow as we solve problems together. This role is ideal for a builder who thrives in the space between practical business needs and technical craftsmanship .

Responsibilities
  • Develop, enhance, and maintain custom reporting tools using Python (Flask or FastAPI).
  • Work with Microsoft SQL Server (queries, stored procedures, optimizations).
  • Build clean, responsive UIs with HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and basic JavaScript .
  • Integrate with ERP data sources (Prophet 21, DDI preferred) using APIs, ODBC, or flat-file transfer.
  • Translate complex business reporting requirements into practical, easy-to-use solutions.
  • Collaborate directly with the founder to learn the business domain and replicate development processes.
  • Ensure code is well-structured, maintainable, and efficient .
Requirements
  • 5+ years of professional development experience with a strong Python foundation .
  • Fluent in english
  • Proven experience in full-stack development (backend + frontend), with an emphasis on frontend.
  • Strong knowledge of Flask or FastAPI and Microsoft SQL Server .
  • Solid skills in HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and JavaScript .
  • Ability to work independently and learn quickly in a small-team environment .
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail .
Nice to Have
  • Experience with Prophet 21 or DDI ERP systems .
  • Practical business experience , especially in software development to solve business logic problems , is highly valued.
  • Background in distribution, wholesale, or supply chain software .
  • Familiarity with business reporting and analytics tools .
