**Position**:
This role plays a pivotal role in developing and executing comprehensive communication strategies that enhance the organization's internal and external messaging. This role involves collaborating with various departments/offices globally to ensure consistent and effective communication with both employees and external stakeholders.
**Responsibilities**:
- In close collaboration with the Brazilian leadership team and the global communications and engagement function, develop and execute internal and external communication plans that align with organizational goals.
- In collaboration with the Chief Communications Officer, manage the local PR agency and ensure they are able to deliver effectively on media relations and other PR related activities.
- Liaison with local and regional media as necessary.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including clients, partners, and the community.
- Draft op-eds, editorials, blog post, speeches, briefings and other relevant content for the Head of Latin America, Patricia Ellen and other senior stakeholders within Systemiq in the region.
- Create content for external newsletters, social media, and other communication platforms.
- Ensure all branding and messaging in the region is consistent with Systemiq's global branding and messaging in all external communications.
- Monitor and protect the organization's reputation and image.
- Oversee the development of multimedia content, such as videos and infographics.
- Ensure that the global communication strategy is implemented locally.
**Qualifications**:
- A bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in communications, PR, or a related role.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills. English is mandatory.
- Proficiency in communication tools, software, and social media platforms.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
**Experience**:
- 5-7 years of experience in communications, with a track record of successfully managing both internal and external communication strategies.
**Additional Requirements**:
- Crisis communication and media relations experience.
- A strategic thinker with the ability to adapt communication strategies to changing needs.
