Overview Trend Micro, a global cybersecurity leader, is seeking a remote Regional Account Manager. This role focuses on generating and closing new business opportunities in accounts with more than 1000 employees. You are a “hunter” with a background in Enterprise Network Security sales, results-oriented, and capable of influencing prospects to buy Trend Micro solutions in a highly competitive security market. You will navigate complex selling in an enterprise technology environment and maintain a strong understanding of Trend Micro products, services, and processes. Responsibilities Proven record of closing large enterprise network security transactions. Develop and maintain detailed knowledge of Trend Micro products, services and processes. Create and maintain monthly product forecasts and manage/update the sales pipeline within the territory. Provide accurate weekly revenue forecasts; follow sound sales processes and implement a strategic territory plan to drive and exceed revenue targets. Develop and report on market conditions; present programs to Regional Accounts and maintain senior-level relationships within Regional Accounts. Schedule and lead sales and technical training for Regional Account customers. Adhere to CRM and business systems standards; travel within the assigned territory as necessary. Collaborate with channel reps in account mapping, participate in sales calls, and host customer events monthly. Develop sales plans for current Channel and End Customers, including working with Channel Partners to identify and develop new opportunities. Qualifications Proven record of closing large enterprise network security transactions ($100k-1M+). Proven experience bringing new logos into an organization. Strong sales process and lead generation skills; 5+ years in network security sales. Experience selling to CSO and Director of Security level contacts within an enterprise. Successful experience working with channels. Cold calling to develop pipeline. Strong negotiation and closing skills with the ability to manage a complex sales cycle to closure. Strong qualification skills, ability to motivate prospects, develop new pipeline opportunities, and exceed quarterly quotas.
