Job Title: Murex Specialist We are seeking a skilled Murex Specialist to join our team. This role requires strong expertise in Murex configuration and environment management. Key Responsibilities: Deploy and manage Murex software for client projects using Murex tools and scripts. Perform basic smoke tests before delivering products. Provide first-level support for deployed Murex products, redirecting issues to corresponding teams. Conduct system health checks and diagnostics to ensure optimal performance and uptime. Automate routine tasks. Database Conversion: Sanitize and purge customer databases. Execute migration sequences and stabilize the environment. Methodologies and Procedures: Contribute to creating environment and configuration management methodologies, conversion processes, communication workflows, and needed templates and documentation. Customize and document installation and conversion procedures. Deliver training and best practices for Murex clients and project teams. Manage internal streams, creating tools, measuring KPIs, and analyzing potential issues. Collaboration: Ensure good collaboration with project teams. Ensure good collaboration with customers. Capitalization: Capture non-client related issues. Contribute to product evolution (provide feedback to product teams, follow-up on defects and issues). Required Skills: Degree in Computer Science Engineering or Information Technology Engineering (or related discipline). Experience with scripting languages. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure. Strong communication skills. Knowledge of technical machine specifications. Knowledge of XML manipulations. Knowledge of UNIX Operations with hands-on expertise in command-line operations. Knowledge of RDMS Operations. Understanding of Financial markets. Benefits: Strong working knowledge of Murex Configuration and Environment management. Strong knowledge of scheduler software (e.g., Tidal, Autosys, JAMS, etc.). Good understanding of MXTest. Good product knowledge/understanding in IRD, CRD, EQD, FXD. Good understanding of Workflows, Operations, Fixings process, Confirmations, and Trade Life Cycle. Strong functional and technical understanding of Murex. Good knowledge of post-trade interactions between actors of capital markets including service providers. Others: Previous experience, min 2yrs, with Murex Environment management. MXTest Module (a plus). Must have strong personality, logical and analytical skills. Be detailed-oriented, a quick learner, and self-starter. Possess good verbal and written communication skills. Must have strong organization skills. Good SQL, Unix, Scripting, Sybase, and Oracle skills. Languages: English: B2 Upper Intermediate.
