In the Shipping and Logistics Analyst role, you will have the opportunity to optimize logistics information, analyze shipping data, and ensure efficient logistics processes for our team in Sumaré, SP, Brazil from the continuous research and recommendation of new technologies and best practices in this field.
Reporting to the Country Leader, this role will be responsible for managing relationships with carriers and freight forwarders to ensure timely and cost-effective shipments, while also being the main point of contact for our factories shipping team and Custom Broker (importation clearance at Brazilian customs), ensuring correct Importation Declaration (DI).
From analyzing shipping and logistics data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement, you will make an impact by developing and implementing strategies to optimize transportation routes and reduce costs.
**Qualifications** Experience Requirements**:
- Technical education (COMEX), and 3-5 years of experience in shipping and logistics is desired
- Familiarity with Brazilian logistics landscape and local transportation networks
- Knowledge of international shipping regulations and customs procedures, including NCM (Nomenclatura Comum do Mercosul)
- Proficient and effective communication skills in both Portuguese and English
- Analytical skills with experience in data analysis tools such as Excel and Power BI
- Prior experience with electronic customer portals, such as Petronect and Ariba
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- High attention to detail and organizational skills, with a methodical and logical analytical approach
- Track and confirm the successful completion of deliveries to customers, ensuring all items are delivered accurately and on time
- Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations and customs requirements
