Responsibilities Manages daily operation of transportation services through subordinate. Develops and implements transportation service policies, standards, guidelines, technology and procedures. Leads negotiations and executions of transportation service agreements and contracts including domestic freight, household goods moves, imports and exports for all modes of transportation. Reviews collection of loss / damage claims / insurance settlements for all shipments. Solves complex supplier quality problems and improves business processes. Establishes transportation carrier tariff classifications and routings for all shipments. Manages research on transportation methods, rates, and routes. Improves profitability through process improvements and utilization of resources. Manages operational budget. Develops and implements programs to support the company logistics initiatives for worldwide leveraging and contracting opportunities through cooperation with carriers. Oversees internal / external legal or government audits of the group's compliance. Supervises the preparation of import documents through the import broker(s) and Customs. Qualifications University / Bachelors Degree or Equivalent. Language: English advanced / fluent.
