Our environment is based on respect and having a good day at work, so you can expect to join a knowledgeable, global team who help each other to succeed.SummaryJob Responsibilities- Monitor and analyze security alerts within the Microsoft Defender environment and respond to potential security incidents.- Configure and manage Microsoft Defender policies and settings to ensure optimal security posture.- Implement and maintain security best practices and standards for Microsoft Defender and related technologies.- Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure secure integration and operation of all IT systems.- Investigate and remediate security vulnerabilities and incidents promptly.- Assist in the development and implementation of incident response plans and procedures.- Provide technical support and guidance on security matters to business units and stakeholders.- Continuously enhance knowledge of emerging security threats, trends and technologies.Required Qualifications**Education**:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.**Experience**:- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT security, preferably with hands-on experience with Microsoft Defender.Skills and Abilities:- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, technologies, and best practices.- Familiarity with other Microsoft security products and cloud services is a plus.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Desired Characteristics:- Certified in Microsoft security technologies, such as Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst Associate.- Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.- Detail-oriented, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.- Proactive and self-motivated, with an eagerness to learn and grow within the role.
