Job Purpose: Provide a comprehensive administrative, secretarial and sales support to the Manager and the Sales team. Utilize GYM/YM to provide competitive MICE/Retail Group quotes in a timely manner to group agents. Handle the travel & ticketing of in-house corporate client base and provide the required assistance with ticketing support for the trade & airport as required. JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES 1. Responsible for handling trade and direct customer enquiries and ensuring all enquiries are dealt with or ownership is established within the sales team. 2. Provide regular reports from Commercial sales systems (CBI, Salesforce etc.) for booking and revenue performance analysis. Collate and provide MI as available. Prepare monthly performance on corporate accounts, agency chains and Consolidators. Provide a monthly statistical overview for both country and territory sectors, which will help assist the sales team to keep abreast of commercial issues 3. Creating reservations, arranging ticketing and fare collection as directed for direct customers, and resolve or re-direct booking enquires from travel industry. Coordinating & ticketing of Educational Groups for the sales team. Responsible for all agents rebated tickets AD/ID including marketing/sponsorship & PR tickets. Provide ticketing support to the trade & airport as required. 4. Administration of all EIRA/excess baggage approvals by DM SA & NT and make appropriate PNR entries, maintenance of all accountable records of all approvals and refusals. This will also involve preparing, sending and maintaining stock of Emirates sales collateral for sales and direct customers. 5. Drafting response letters to general commercial correspondence, redirect correspondence to relevant departments or sales sections where appropriate. Deal with all telephone enquiries and provide relevant information promptly and efficiently 6. Responsible for all group quotes and responding within a 24 hour time period. 7. Coordination of weekly sales meeting agenda/minutes with the Sales team. Liaising with marketing/sales teams in producing local/national sales incentives. Organising sales functions and travel shows/Expo's 8. Prepare contract proposals as required. Maintain and update the Contract files and make relevant departments aware of any promotions involved within the contract. Monitor the productivity of all contracts in place and provide statistical analysis on a monthly basis to the Sales Manager and the clients 9. Ensure fare distribution and local newsletters to the Trade
Qualifications & Experience: Qualifications & Experience Educated to High School level with a minimum 3 years' experience in reservations / ticketing Skilled use of Microsoft packages, Salesforce, CBI, SPACE, MARS, GYM. Good knowledge of Airfares and Ticketing. Working knowledge of Corporate, Leisure and Consolidator markets. Knowledge/skills Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Powerpoint and Excel Excellent written and oral communication skills Self-motivated, and pro-active with the ability to work on own initiative *Position is location in Rio de Janeiro. Must have the ability to live and work there*
