
Import and Export Analyst

Responsible for the administration of import and export processes, hiring international freight, managing carriers and customs brokers, interfacing with purchasing, sales, fiscal, financial, and accounting departments. Analyzing processes, identifying improvements, and conducting cost analysis for project feasibility according to each line of business of the company
**Roles & Responsibilities**:
- Perform follow-up on import and export processes, ensuring compliance with shipments according to the plant's needs.
- Build effective relationships both internally and externally to ensure assertive communication between parties.
- Conduct cost analysis for the commercial and purchasing teams, identifying business opportunities, load optimization, and routes according to the company's needs.
- Schedule plant deliveries with carriers, aligned with the plant's daily receiving capacity related to the movement of products such as resins, chemicals, equipment, parts, etc
- Plan and competently manage all import requirements, reporting changes in the international market to the supply chain manager and other stakeholders in the business.
- Negotiate contracts with customs brokers, conduct compliance training according to company norms and rules with all representatives who are legal agents and have power of attorney.
- Act promptly to resolve service provider performance issues and provide periodic reports on key performance indicators for assigned business lines.
- Provide internal and external customer service, providing information for business decision-making according to the company's needs.
- Knowledge of taxes and duties involved in the import and export process.
- Knowledge of customs legislation and informing commercial and purchasing teams of updates, identifying changes in taxes, anti-dumping measures, and anything that may impact the business.
- Analysis and submission of cash forecasts to finance monthly for the company's cash flow preparation
**Min. Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, or Logistics
- Experience working as a foreign trade analyst (preferably in chemical industry companies)
- Computer skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
- Advanced English
