Sr. SAP MM Functional Business Analyst

This person will play a key role in connecting the IT SAP MM team to the Business, identifying optimal SAP technology solutions, and supporting projects, AMS, and initiatives from planning to delivery globally, including SAP configuration and development processes.

Essential Responsible Areas:

  1. Support initiatives in the area of procure-to-pay (PTP), including SAP integrations with external systems.
  2. Operate as a functional lead analyst for SAP procure-to-pay (PTP), with proficient knowledge of integrations with upstream and downstream modules such as SD, GRC Inbound, and FI/CO.
  3. Partnership with stakeholders to translate business requirements into SAP solutions.
  4. System configuration, integration testing, and support to UAT.
  5. Prepare documentation such as functional specifications, solution proposals, testing, and training.
  6. Support different phases of the project, from business requirements to hyper-care and knowledge transfer including end users.
  7. Ensure adherence to global design, technical architecture, standards, audit, and change management.
  8. Support AMS activities and enhancement of the SAP for end users based on requirements.

Professional & Education Qualifications:

  1. Complete Degree in IT area.
  2. Experience in SAP MM/GRC as a user with SAP Academy.
  3. Advanced English.
  4. Strong knowledge of the SAP Material Management (IM) process flow area functions and their interactions with other SAP modules.
  5. Brazilian Localization TAXBRA. Other LATAM localization will be a plus (Including E-invoice).
  6. In-depth knowledge of end-to-end PTP processes including requisitions, purchases and contracts management, price determination, tax assignments (J1BTAX), goods receipt (MIGO/VL31N), and invoice receipt (MIRO), inventory segmentation and management, release strategy, and reporting.
  7. Experience designing and implementing SAP integrations with EDI and 3rd party systems.
  8. Experience and understanding of the GRC Inbound Fiscal and Logistic Monitor.
  9. Experience and understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle Management model and documentation.
  10. Debugging knowledge.
  11. Write functional specifications and functional documentation.
