**The Role**
We're excited to introduce you to this incredible opportunity to join our team as an Associate Director, Tax. This mission-critical role will provide critical tax operational support to Tax operations.
As an Associate Director, Tax you will be the lead responsible for providing leadership, guidance, and tax expertise across the tax team. You will perform complex operational and technical tax analysis and reporting for areas of responsibility. Your expertise will be essential in providing coaching, work coordination, guidance on issue resolution, and developing team skills. You will use sound problem-solving techniques, facilitate process execution, ensure auditability is maintained, implement plans to address exposures, promote improvements within the tax process area and utilizes the agile methodology.
You will work day-to-day with external tax vendors, ensuring high-quality provision of tax compliance services to the company. Review external vendor work deliverables and output, including tax returns and payments, tax accounting computations, and reporting. Work hands-on. Provide high-quality tax advisory support to Kyndryl's business units and support functions, including working cross-functionally with Kyndryl's Legal, Treasury, Finance & Accounting (including Shared Services Centers) teams to meet Kyndryl's strategic and operational tax objectives and initiatives.

Required Skills and Experience:
- Extensive background in Tax Operations (Corporate Income and Indirect Tax), preferably with a combination of in-house experience with a large multinational enterprise and relevant Big 4 experience
- Good understanding of accounting principles, including tax accounting, and transfer pricing
- Strong project management skills with the ability to work independently
- Ability to collaborate with internal teams and manage external advisors
- Practical experience in corporate income tax, including preparation and review of corporate income tax returns
- Good understanding of regional tax laws and regulations
- A hands-on approach with attention to detail and a high degree of flexibility is also required, as well as the ability to work under pressure
- Oustanding communication in English
- Bachelor's Degree
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Communication skills in Spanish (written and verbal)
- Master's degree
