GCP Data Engineer Job Opportunity We're looking for an experienced professional to spearhead our GCP data engineering initiatives. As a key member of our team, you will design and implement robust data architectures on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) using a variety of services. Responsibilities: Proficiency in BigQuery, Dataflow (Apache Beam), Cloud Storage, and Pub/Sub is required You should have hands-on experience with SQL, Oracle Database, and PostgreSQL A solid understanding of orchestration using Cloud Composer (Airflow) is essential Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) applied to data pipelines, particularly with Git and Terraform You should be well-versed in cloud cost and performance optimization strategies Possession of relevant GCP certifications is highly valued Familiarity with Kubernetes (GKE) and APIs on GCP is necessary Hands-on experience with Machine Learning pipelines (Vertex AI, AI Platform) Previous involvement with Data Mesh and distributed architectures is desirable A solid grasp of Data Lake layers and concepts of batch and streaming processing is required Proficiency in data modeling (relational, dimensional, and NoSQL) What can you expect from this role?
