**Location**:Subotica, RS, **Business Unit**:Nul**Posting Date**:Jan 13, 2025- Under responsibility of Finance controller for France and the Netherlands, the Senior account is member of finance team for France, working on both statutory and reporting aspects.**MISSIONS**:**Accounting in French GAAP**:- 3rd party suppliers:- Gather invoices from 3rd party suppliers, gain approval for those invoices and ensure proper booking, either semi-manually (e.g. with the help of UiPath) or manually,- Ensure proper split between business units for specific 3rd party suppliers’ invoices,- Review and load in ERP monthly datasets from central purchasing system (IVALUA),- Register new suppliers in ERP upon occurrence,- Be the first level of contact for any finance-related question from 3rd party suppliers.- 3rd party customers:- Monitor and adjust monthly positions of down-payments/advance payments accounts, in coordination with rest of the Finance team, and with Sales Order Processing team.- Intercompany partners:- Participate to intercompany partners’ positions monthly reconciliation, together with the rest of the Finance team.- Cash:- Prepare and monitor execution of payment to 3rd party suppliers in bank,- Prepare and monitor execution of customers’ refunds in bank,- Prepare and monitor execution of payment to intercompany partners in bank,- Book all cash entries except incoming cash from customers,- Prepare bank accounts monthly reconciliations.- Other accounting tasks:- In coordination with Finance controller, monitor and adjust monthly positions of: suppliers’ accruals, prepaid expenses, miscellaneous debtors and creditors,- Review and load in ERP weekly datasets incoming from T&E system (Concur),- Book fixed assets’ acquisitions upon occurrence, and run monthly depreciation batch,- Execute monthly costs’ recharge process to foreign Business Units (prepare datasets for recharges’ computation bot, run bot, assess and adjust outcome if needed, post invoices),- In coordination with Finance controller, compute and book VAT entries.- Reporting:- Be involved in balance sheet accounts’ supporting documentation update, monthly,- Compute DSO, prepare Accounts Receivable reports to send to Business Units, monthly.- Prepare all SOX reconciliations, quarterly.**Compliance with laws and regulations**:- Be involved in monitoring fiscal compliance on your scope,- Be involved in external or internal audits, when applicable (statutory audit, internal SOX audit, fiscal or social controls).**US GAAP reporting**:- Prepare and book some adjustments from French GAAP to US GAAP, on your scope (e.g. reclassification/split of some positions into multiple US GAAP accounts).**Supporting foreign Business Units**:- Help answering questions from foreign Business Units on costs being recharged to them.**Finance team continuous improvement**:- Be involved in processes’ and IT transformation projects impacting Finance team.**PROFILE**:- Graduated in Finance, Accounting or Audit- 3-5 years of experience- Fast and accurate execution of bookings and reporting.- Autonomous in controlling bookings and reports.- Bilingual in English, basic knowledge in French is a plus.- Key IT tools in place: Microsoft Dynamics Business Central 19 (ERP), Excel, UiPath.AMETEK, Inc. is a leading global provider of industrial technology solutions serving a diverse set of attractive niche markets with annual sales over $7.0 billion.
