Intellectual Property Lawyer

Prepare and send cease-and-desist letters to IP infringers.Draft and conclude settlement agreements with IP infringers, overseeing all stages of negotiation during the pre-court stage.Conduct criminal enforcement actions, including the planning and execution of counterfeit product seizures.Assist monitoring efforts and investigations of potential IP infringements.Additional responsibilities include:
Assess multiple infringement cases, providing rightsholders with legal opinions and proposed actions.Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to protect and enhance brand integrity.Stay updated on the latest developments in IP law and regulations.Mandatory skills and qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in law from a reputable institution.Fluent in Portuguese and English, both written and spoken (the candidate will communicate daily with our global teams from around the world).2-5 years of relevant experience in IP rights protection, preferably in a law firm specializing in the IP field.Proven experience in anti-counterfeiting, preferably with a focus on criminal proceedings and working with law-enforcement authorities.Other desired skills:
